Hi, I’m Kim…
I’m a Freelance Fashion and Beauty Writer based in Glasgow, UK.
Many moons ago, I graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with a BA in Fashion Business and a love of clothes and magazines that I wasn’t sure what to do with.
In 2016, I started writing real-time catwalk reports and turned my obsession with the fashion world into a love for fashion writing. To me, reflecting on runways felt like being able to understand a secret language, and I could dissect collections fluently.
A few years later (and a few journalism and copywriting courses) I decided to cut the cord on the retail job that was my safety net and take the plunge into writing full time.
Since 2019, I’ve written for online publications, created editorial, social and brand content for household names in the fashion and beauty industry. I love injecting life, humour and personality into my copy – making it speak to customers and audiences in a way that feels relatable and current.
